Born and raised in Utica, New York, Mark comes from a musical family, and was playing guitar and piano at a young age. By 16, he was playing in local bars and clubs, and developing a following as a promising vocalist and guitarist in the area. Despite his successes, Mark knew something was missing inside.
At his brother's urging, Mark began attending a local church, and realized what he was missing was a relationship with God. He accepted Christ into his heart, and began writing Christian music and performing in area churches, coffeehouses and small venues all across Central New York.
Mark's ministry opportunities grew, and he soon became a highly sought after Christian vocalist/guitarist in the Northeast, sharing the stage with such artists as Mercy Me, Jeremy Camp, Big Daddy Weave, 7th Times Down, Aaron Shust, Robin Mark, Natalie Grant, Cherry Keaggy, Mark Schultz, Bryan Duncan, and many others. When not on the road, Mark is the worship leader at the Mohawk Valley Church, located in Marcy, New York.
